Mary Bowling, Co-founder, Ignitor Digital, has been involved in all aspects of SEO since 2003 and has always been intrigued by local search. With a background as a serial entrepreneur, she tries to approach local search and internet marketing in a practical way and from a small business owner’s perspective. Mary is an SEO practitioner and consultant and speaks on local search at industry conferences such as SMX, Pubcon, MozCon, Moz Local, LocalU, SearchLove and Searchfest. She blogs at Search Engine News , LocalU and IgnitorDigital, an agency devoted to helping clients with small budgets.
Brandon Fleming, Marketing Manager SEO/SEM at Protection 1/ADT, has overseen search engine optimization and search engine marketing for Protection 1 since 2011, and for ADT since September, 2016. An experienced affiliate marketer, Fleming has been practicing SEO since 1996 and launched his first web design, development and SEO company in 2000, when he was just 18 years old. In the years since, he has worked with hundreds of companies over the world and developed over 600 websites.
A self-described technical marketer, he now supports display and other digital channels with SEO-friendly web development and oversees creative design strategy, conversion rate optimization, analytics, and full funnel optimization at Protection 1 and ADT, two leading home security firms acquired by Apollo Global Management LLC and merged early in 2016. Fleming is also responsible for partnering with telecom and sales teams and other marketing stakeholders in the implementation of keyword-level tracking to the sale.
